Lorna Byrne's first interview has appeared today in Publishing News. I hear that Roger Tagholm, the journalist who conducted the interview, has become the butt of jokes for doing it, but he's entirely right that Lorna's story seems incredible - until you meet her. I think nearly everyone becomes convinced then. She really does communicate with disembodied intelligences ALL THE TIME.
I think that there are perhaps only a few individuals constitutes like her - Mother Meera might be another one (I'm trusting to their people's accounts) - alive on the planet at any one time.
Lorna met several American editors recently and at the end had both Dan Brown's editor and Rhonda The Secret) Byrne's editor were competing to publish her. All my instincts as a publisher are telling me she's going to be the Next Big Thing. It may take a little time to run back the tide of mockery, hostility and scepticism, it may be that she will make some churchmen uncomfortable and fearful of losing control, but, you know,it will happen.
Makes me smile when I remember Lorna's 'country mouse' demeanor when i first saw her and to think now that she has all of New York publishing at her feet! I smile, too, when i think of the extraordinary series of coincidences that led to that meeting.
I've read a lot of mystical literature over the years. Some of it has been vivid accounts of - usually fleeting - mystical experiences, for instance Boehme, Dee or Teresa of Avila. Some of it has been more theological or theosophical - abstract, perhaps academic accounts making sense of the different orders of dismobdied intelligences, for instance Dionysius the Areopgagite or Aquinas. What is entirely new - to me at least - in Lorna's writings is the way she combines these two things. As you read her story, you gradually learn to experience, as she did, all the different orders of spiritual beings - to get a living sense of the entire 'spiritual ecology' of the cosmos.
I'm immensely flattered that she recogonised in my book the history of the cosmos she experiences.
Angels in my Hair will be published on 6th May. I recommmend you read it with all my heart.
Dear Mark,
I hope you're keeping well, thought I'd drop you a line as I was early in London this morning, so I decided to have a look inside the Masonic Lodge in Covent Garden today; I recognised plenty of the symbols. Freemasons certainly are welcoming, although I'm not sure I'd consider following in my Grandfathers footsteps and joining them though. I think I'd feel more at home with the AMORC.
I was chewing over the visit in the market with a coffee when I picked up a near by paper and read how scientists are taking Reincarnation more seriously. The practise of past life regression certainly interests me, would you ever consider under going it? The article is
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=562154&in_page_id=1770
should you wish to read it.
I have also been meaning out to building my collection on Esoteric literature after reading the above bulletin, the idea of Guardian Angles has always been rather interesting to me. I have recently been thinking of vegetarianism; especially in regards to Karma. Oddly enough, I was walking down towards the Market when a man around my height with short hair approached me, shook my hand and said he was from, ironically enough, a Hare Krishna temple. We talked for a short while about Harrison (which had just come on my IPod on Shuffle, Within You Without You), when he gave me a book on Meat free recipes, which, believe it or not, was "The Higher Taste", a guide to a Karma Free Diet. I gave my thanks, and we parted. I turned around a little up the street but unfortunately he had gone. It certainly was an experience.
I'll have to read her book and see.
Nick

Hi Nick
Co-incidentally I went on a tour of the Grand Lodge the other day too. It's an amazing building, isn' it - perhaps the finest art deco building in London, along with the Savoy.
That huge hall with the thrones in it is awesome - would make a magnificent place for the climax of a Da Vinci Code type thriller.
I've found out some really interesting stuff on the esoteric side of Freemasonry - told me by Robert Lomas..More on that soon.
It's the esoteric side rather than the dining side that interests me, and I suspect that Freemasonry may bring it nearer the surface in an attempt to attract more and younger members.
I'm not sure about hypnosis of any kind. Science can't explain it satisfactorily, because it is essentially an occult process - once used in initiation in India. The thing is that consciousness and initiation have evolved. We now have a very precious, though still delicate, embryonic capacity for conscious free-will - and in hypnosis we hand that over to someone else. Dangerous!
I love the idea of a karma-free diet! As you know, Steiner said that when we eat a piece of meat, we absorb that animal's death agony.
I eat meat sometimes, though I have less and less taste for it. I once had lunch with a great Chinese initiate, and to my surprise - because I expected him to be vegetarian - he followed my example by ordering Dover sole. He said he was choosing fish because it was a special occasion and that he gave thanks to the fish's spirit.

Hello,
I was kindly given 'angels in my hair' by my Mam for my 33rd birthday. I had lost my connection to spirituality & have been feeling lost & overwhelmed by the lack of purpose & direction in my life. Lorna 's book has helped me tap back into my belief
In god, Mary & the wonderful angels present by our sides. I am hugely grateful to Lorna for that. She is a magnificent creature with a very simple powerful message for all ' ask your angels for help everyday & don't forget to thank them' .
Thank you Lorna for opening my heart & mind. God bless you!

Hello, Andrea. I'm very glad you felt moved to write that. I'll pass your blessing and what you have said on to Lorna next time I see her.

Hi there Jonathan,
I am now reading Lorna's book for the 2nd time, I think its the most amazing book I have ever read, cos I never read that much. I have now got my boyfriend reading it and he agrees too. I have always kept my faith, but not as much as I should if I am honest. I thank God for Lorna and her book, it really has changed my life and the way I think. I am now so content and happy to think that I am being looked after by my Angels, and I pray for Lorna too because she is busy praying for us all, so I think she deserves prayers too! Please can you thank her if you see her next time Jonathan, she is truely an inspiration to me

Hi All,
I met Lorna last Saturday at her book signing in Cork. She is the most graceful, soft and beautiful person. She told me that there is a lot of angels around me, helping me.. My angels were speaking through Lorna.. filling me with faith and happiness. On that day, all my worries, fears and anxieties disappeared. And now, there is a silver cross hanging from my neck to remind me every second that I'm not alone.. Thank you God and Angels!

Hi All,
I MET LORNA AT HER BOOK SIGNING IN BELFAST AND WAS VERY TAKEN BY HER. I TOLD HER I PICKED UP HER BOOK BY CHANCE WHEN I WAS IN TOTAL DESPAIR OF A FAMILY SITUATION AND SHE TOLD ME NOTHING IS BY CHANCE I WAS MEANT TO GET IT AT THAT TIME. LORNA SIGNED A BOOK FOR MY FRIEND WHOSE DAUGHTER PASSED AWAY 21YEARS AGO,MY FRIEND AND I WERE IN SHOCK AT THE MESSAGE SHE PUT IN THE BOOK, I HONESTLY BELIEVE IF HER DAUGHTER WERE HERE FOR A MOMENT TO-DAY THAT IS WHAT SHE WOULD TELL HER MUM. I AM ALWAYS SKEPTICAL BUT I CAME AWAY FROM SEEING LORNA WITH A SENSE OF PEACE AND PRAY MORE TO THE ANGELS. I HOPE ONE DAY I WILL MEET LORNA AGAIN.

Yes, the antichrist is among us. He was born on April 20, 1970, helped into incarnation by the so-called "religious offering" performed 9 months previously (July 20, 1969 ) on the moon by Aldrin, a freemason. This ceremony is mentioned in his autobiography and there's more about this Osiris/Isis/Horus ceremony in chapter 5 of "Dark Mission" by Hoagland.

Hi Jonathon,
Last week I was passed Lorna's book by a colleague of mine, she said I should read it as she knew I have an interest in the subject. I read the first few chapters and what I had known for years was confirmed to me, what Lorna had written is so true, we do have Angels with us and all we need to do is believe in them and when we are low and need help all we have to do is ask. I was once told that God hears all prayers but has so many of them to answer, he then has to call on his many helpers, these are the Angels, they in turn come to look after & guide us, how wonderful that is to know. Lorna took me on a journey, I laughed, I smiled and I cried for her but it provided me with something I have always known deep down inside, we are not alone, ever.. I have only later in my life been able to tell others of my beliefs and yes I'm sure some of them think I am mad, thats their right of course and I would never try to convince anyone who would not be willing to accept but I know some also feel the happiness and contentment I feel once we have chatted and like Lorna if I can make someone feel peace within themselves then I shall go on sending out my message because I am sure I am being asked to.
Thank you Lorna for enriching the lives of so many, you are truly an Angel in disguise.
God Bless you, Donna in UK

Hi Jonathon
I have just finished reading Lorna's book and it truly is amazing. Her writing is so obviously honest and descriptive. What a wonderful gift she has been given by God she has to be a very special person to be able to do so much of Gods work. I loved the book and just feel I have to read it all again. I would love to find my spirituality maybe Lorna could help me with this. Please give her my name when next you talk to her and I would like to know if she is doing any more book signings.

Hi Jonathan
I was given Lornas book by a friend after we both had visited a medium . my friends mother came through.but i was told bad news about two young sick members of my family by this lady. I guess my friend thought the book would help. It did. I have often thought I was special that somehow someone was always by myside. The book is the first ever book i have read in my life and iam 40 on 09 may this year. I am nearly finished it. Its just made me more aware of what life is all about and death.my mum passed away in hospital 3 years ago after being sick for a long while. iam at peace because i know in my heart that the angels are by her side and she is at peace . could you thank lorna for me for her book love heather x

My mum taught me to pray since i was very young and prayers helped all the time to connect with god whenever i am feeling lost or scared , i am strong believer that there is something more than just flesh and bone and i know that Lorna's book was meant to come to me. When i read her book as was so at peace and happy that i don't ever have to be scared anymore , i just want to read it over and over again since i have read her book i keep dreaming about my dead father, grandmother and aunt who were people i loved a lot. I have no idea what they want to tell me. But i know that they are here to support me in my journey , i am in a very new relation ship with an incredible man but was a bit scared but since i read her book i have an intense and continuos joy that i cannot explain and i am so much at peace.
God bless you Lorna and i would like to thank my angel for giving me your book
Regards Jeanique

I have just finished Lorna's book having bought it two days ago. It is so simply, yet beautifully written, that it made me smile and cry. I have been on my spiritual journey for just over a year and this was a huge turning point for me - I'm sorry I missed all book signings but hope that there will be more books from Lorna as the writing and descriptions were inspirational, and fill me with joy and hope. Thank you Lorna!

I read Lorna's book earlier this year, it was left by my mother at my home for me to read if I got the chance. I haven't read a book in years, just hadn't the time.....
Events in my life since the age of 16, caused pain, turmoil, hopelesness and loss of self worth.I was so unhappy!
I don't care who hears me saying this, but, I did read 'Angels in my hair', it only took me a week, and that was at the end of August. My life has changed, incredibly, and I am now for the first time in 24 years ready to embrace the rest of my life with so much hope and excitement for what is to come each day I wake up. Thank you so much Lorna for you to me are the real deal, I have the proof in my heart and in my pocket, a photo of a childhood wish come true. God Bless you xxx

Lornas book confirmed to me what i already felt that we have angels and family members who passed away looking after us. all we have to do is look inside our heart and we will find what we are seeking. I have felt this way since i was young and have prayed for others who need guidance and strength as well as those who were sick or suffering from the loss of a loved one. Prayer is a powerful blessing and i thank lorna for reinforcing that belief through her book and beautiful personality.

When I read Angels in my hair I was mesmerised. Every opportunity I had, I would carry on reading. It has given me so much hope in my life and I say more prayers now, than ever before.
Thank you Lorna for writing the book, and Thank you to all the Angels for guiding me.
May God bless us all with Love, Peace and Happiness. x
